Yemen’s Houthi rebels said on Monday that they attacked the ship Magic Seas in the Red Sea and that it was “at risk of sinking”. The vessel was targeted by two unmanned boats, five ballistic and cruise missiles and three drones, the group’s spokesman Yahya Sarea said in a statement. “The ship sustained a direct hit, water leaked into it, and is now at risk of sinking,” Mr Sarea said.
The group allowed the crew to safely disembark, the spokesman said, adding that the targeting operation came after the crew rejected all of the warnings.
