Yemen’s Houthi rebels say they have attacked an Israeli ship travelling in the Gulf of Aden. The Iran-backed Houthis attacked the MSC Darwin with naval missiles and drones, about 25km south-west of Aden, the UK Maritime Trade Operations centre said. The captain of the Darwin reported “a loud bang heard, and a splash and smoke seen coming from the sea”, the UKMTO said. “Vessel and all crew are safe.”
