President of the United States, Joe Biden, has chosen to divide frozen Afghan assets evenly among Afghans and 9/11 victims.

The value of the frozen Afghan assets is estimated to be over $7 billion, according to US media, and the Biden administration has been hesitant to return them. President Joe Biden has decided to disperse the monies evenly among the Afghan people and the 9/11 victims, according to a presidential decree issued by the United States. This will cost both sides an estimated 3.5 billion dollars.
