US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan on Tuesday met Qatar Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani to review the latest developments in Gaza. They discussed work towards the release of remaining hostages held by militant groups in the Palestinian enclave, the White House said, and Mr Sullivan thanked Qatar for its role in the efforts. Mr Sullivan also urged Sheikh Mohammed that “all possible efforts be brought to bear on Hamas to secure the release of hostages without delay”.
