US forces shot down four Houthi drones on Wednesday after the Iran-backed militants fired an anti-ship missile into the Gulf of Aden, Central Command said. The missile did not hit any vessels or cause any damage or injuries, it said on X. “United States Central Command then successfully engaged and destroyed four unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) and one surface-to-air missile in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen,” it added.
