The US military said it successfully conducted four self-defense strikes in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen. The US Central Command said the strikes targeted seven mobile anti-ship cruise missiles, three mobile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), and one explosive unmanned surface vessel (USV) that were ready to launch against ships in the Red Sea. “Centcom identified these mobile missiles, UAVs, and USV in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen and determined it presented an imminent threat to US Navy ships and merchant vessels in the region,” it said.
