US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan will visit Saudi Arabia and Israel this weekend, the White House has announced. Mr Sullivan will meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Saturday to discuss “bilateral and mutual matters including the war in Gaza and ongoing efforts to achieve a lasting peace and security in the region”, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said. On Sunday, Mr Sullivan will travel to Israel to meet senior officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
