The US military’s floating aid pier in Gaza is expected to resume operations on Thursday, US officials said. The pier was re-attached to the shore on Wednesday, having been removed temporarily last Friday due to poor sea conditions, officials added. Aid began entering Gaza using the US-built pier on May 17. The UN said 137 lorries used the pier to deliver 900 tonnes of aid to warehouses.
