The US is investigating the unauthorised release of classified documents outlining Israel’s potential plans to strike Iran, three US officials told The Associated Press. A fourth official confirmed the legitimacy of the documents. The leaked intelligence, attributed to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and National Security Agency, revealed that Israel was still positioning military assets for a strike following Iran’s ballistic missile attack on October 1.
