An American drone that crashed off the coast of Yemen this week was possibly downed by Houthi rebels, CBS News reported, citing a US official. A US government official confirmed to The National that the MQ-9 Reaper drone crashed on Thursday off the coast of Yemen and said that “an investigation into the incident is under way”. There were no reported injuries.
