Two children are among five people reported dead in Iranian missile strikes on the Iraqi Kurdish city of Erbil. Washington condemned Iran’s attacks in Erbil and offered condolences to the families of those who were killed. “We oppose Iran’s reckless missile strikes, which undermine Iraq’s stability,” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for the attack and said it was targeting a Mossad headquarters and a military base that hosts US troops.
