Rafael Grossi, head of the UN’s nuclear watchdog, would brief the United Nations Security Council on a proposal to safeguard the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The safety of Europe’s largest nuclear power plant has been a concern since Russian forces took it over last year. Kyiv and Moscow repeatedly accused each other of attacking the plant after frequent shelling has caused several power outages.
