A team of UN nuclear inspectors left Iran on Friday, as Tehran moves to sideline them in a spat over the recent war with Israel. The International Atomic Energy Agency said the inspectors had returned to its headquarters in Vienna “after staying in Tehran throughout the recent military conflict”. IAEA chief Rafael Grossi called for discussions with Iran to allow the agency to “resume its indispensable monitoring and verification activities in Iran as soon as possible”.
