Ukraine’s farm ministry said that Kyiv started talks with the World Bank to borrow $700 million for emergency support to the agricultural sector this year and next. The ministry said on Telegram that it needed additional funding for small farmers and agricultural and food producers, as the country continues to grapple with the economic impact of the Russian military invasion.
