The UK sent “vital equipment” including forklifts and conveyor belts to Egypt for Gaza, to help with rescue and retrieval efforts. “This equipment will be installed near the Rafah border crossing, to enhance the ability of relief agencies to manage and deliver large amounts of aid to civilians in Gaza. The Rafah border crossing is the only crossing to bring aid into Gaza,” the UK Foreign Office said.
