British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has spoken with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman about the region’s escalating conflict. Starmer noted that additional British fighter jets, helicopters and a destroyer were being sent to the Middle East, Downing Street said in a statement, and pledged that the UK is “ready to support” the defence of Riyadh. The duo also discussed increasing their intelligence sharing, the statement said.
