The UK says it has delivered a first shipment of humanitarian aid to Gaza via the floating pier built by US military personnel. A consignment of plastic shelters was shipped to the temporary pier after being screened in Cyprus, the British government said. It promised that more aid including another 2,000 shelters, 900 tents and thousands of hygiene kits “will follow in the coming weeks”.
