The UAE welcomed a temporary truce in Gaza and hoped the agreement would lead to a permanent ceasefire. It “stresses the necessity of returning to negotiations to achieve a two-state solution and establish an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital”, read a statement from the Foreign Ministry shared by news agency Wam.
