The UAE has sent an emergency aid shipment to the Gaza Strip aimed at alleviating the suffering of children as the enclave witnesses an increase in infant deaths due to severe cold, malnutrition and a lack of supplies. The aid was sent as part of Operation Gallant Knight 3, in partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent, Zayed Humanitarian Foundation, and Sharjah Charity Foundation, state news agency Wam reported. The aid included milk and nutritional supplements for infants, and winter clothes, in addition to relief bags containing basic supplies for affected families.
