Repair work on damaged water networks are under way in Khan Younis, under the UAE’s Gallant Knight 3 operation. The project, implemented in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality and the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility, intends to deliver water to residents after the collapse of infrastructure due to the ongoing Israel-Gaza war. The aim is to re-open the main wells, tanks and destroyed lines so providing humanitarian services to residents and displaced families in the city is easier.
