On Wednesday, the United Arab Emirates and China called for a UN Security Council meeting after an Israeli minister entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in a widely denounced move. Itamar Ben-Gvir is Israel’s far-right National Security Minister who just came to the office yesterday. As per the diplomats, the Council is expected to convene on Thursday.
