Two women in their 50s were killed in a violent attack at a secondary school in Malmö, Sweden, according to police.

On suspicion of murder, an 18-year-old student at the institution has been arrested.

He was reportedly armed with a knife and an axe, according to local media, though authorities have yet to corroborate the details.

The two women, who worked at Malmö Latin School, were rushed to the hospital but died as a result of their injuries.
