Turkey prepares to evacuate citizens from Lebanon

Turkey’s armed forces are preparing for an evacuation of the country’s citizens from Lebanon, a Defense Ministry official said. “Preliminary planning and preparations are also being made within the scope of a possible evacuation operation,” the official said. The Turkish armed forces have the “means and capabilities” to carry out a possible evacuation of Turkish citizens and foreign nationals from Lebanon.
