US president-elect Donald Trump has announced that Lebanese-American businessman Massad Boulos will be his senior adviser on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs. Mr Trump made the announcement about his daughter’s father-in-law on Truth Social. Mr Boulos’s son Michael is married to Tiffany Trump. Massad Boulos has been an active supporter of the Trump campaign in recent months, rallying Lebanese and Arab-American communities despite heightened tensions over the US-backed Israeli military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
