Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa had a telephonic discussion with US Defence Secretary Lloyd J Austin III in which mutual security goals and stability in the region were discussed. Interest to improve the US and Pakistan relationship was also part of their discussion. They also discussed the current situation of Afghanistan and the bilateral defense relationship.
