Lahore: Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Omer Sarfraz Cheema said on Monday that technology would be used to curb corruption in prison department. Chairing a session on jail reforms, he directed the prison department to adopt a zero-tolerance policy against corruption. “The corrupt individuals will be terminated from employment”, he said. Inspector General (IG) Prisons Malik Mubashhir Ahmad Khan, Add. Secretary Prisons Hassan Raza, DG Parole Shireen Naz, and Chief Psychologist Sadia Zafar were also with him.
