Israel must conduct “targeted operations” against Hamas, French President Emmanuel Macron told his Israeli counterpart in Jerusalem as Israel continues its strikes on Gaza. “This is our duty to strike against these terrorist groups without any confusion or enlarging this conflict,” he told President Isaac Herzog. “Targeting clearly these terrorist groups … organizing targeted operations is a necessity,” he added.
