An Israeli soldier died of his injuries after a Hezbollah strike on northern Israel on Wednesday. The army confirmed his death on Thursday, saying the soldier, from the Alon Brigade, “fell in fighting in the north”. Several others were wounded in the strike on Hurfeish, a Druze town where residents have remained despite evacuation orders amid cross-border fighting with Lebanon.
