Following an upsurge in instances of coronavirus and the Omicron strain, a micro-smart lockdown has been implemented in four Karachi towns.

The smart lockdown is imposed on the recommendation of the district health officer, according to a statement released by the central deputy commissioner.

Smart lockdown has been implemented in Gulberg, Liaquatabad, North Karachi, and North Nazimabad. The smart lockdown will be in effect in these towns until February 5th.
