The hit song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) by Colombian singer Shakira has surpassed the three billion views mark on YouTube.
The song, which was recorded as the official track for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, includes the 43-year-old star alongside Freshlyground, a South African band.
On Tuesday, the Girl Like Me singer released a brief video clip of the song on her Instagram account, thanking her fans for making it a tremendous hit.
