Islamabad: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior, Shahzad Akbar resigned from his post on Monday. Taking to Twitter, he announced,” I have tendered my resignation today to PM as Advisor”. “I will remain associated with the party and keep contributing as a member of the legal fraternity,” he added. He also hoped that the ongoing strategy of accountability would continue under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan as per the agenda of the ruling PTI.
