Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi challenge Toshakhana-2 case conviction in IHC

Jailed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi on Monday filed separate appeals in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) against their convictions in the Toshakhana-2 case, challenging the 17-year prison sentences awarded by a special court earlier this month. The appeals contest the December 20 verdict by a special judge, who sentenced the former prime minister and his spouse to 17 years’ imprisonment each over the under-priced purchase of luxury state gifts. KP CM Afridi reaches Adiala jail to meet Imran Khan after IHC order to authorities

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday directed the superintendent of Adiala jail to allow meetings of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders with the party's jailed founder, Imran Khan. The directives came on the PTI's leaders petitions including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, who have sought a meeting with Imran to discuss "policy matters" and cabinet formation of the newly elected provincial government. Bushra Bibi released from Adiala Jail after IHC bail

Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, released from Adiala Jail on Thursday after granted bail in the Toshakhana-II case yesterday. The Islamabad High Court’s Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb accepted the post-arrest bail plea of Bushra Bibi on Wednesday against Rs1 million surety bonds. IHC nullifies ECP’s verdict to replace election tribunal judge

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has nullified the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)’s verdict to replace Election Tribunal judge Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.
