Belgium’s Foreign Minister condemned an overnight Israeli air strike on an UN-run school in Gaza and called for an immediate ceasefire. “The devastating air strike on a UNRWA school in Gaza is an appalling and unacceptable act of violence. All parties must respect civilian infrastructure,” Hadja Lahbib wrote on X. The school was sheltering hundreds of people when it was struck at 2.15am local time, according to Palestinian media.
