Saudi Arabia announced a $40 million donation to the UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees after major donors withdrew funding to the UNRWA in January. An agreement was signed between the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) and UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini on Wednesday. The funding will provide food for more than 250,000 people and tents for 20,000 families, according to a joint statement.
