Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned an attack on the UAE’s Consulate General in Iraq’s Kurdistan autonomous region. The “repeated targeting” of diplomatic buildings is a “clear violation” of international law, the ministry said. This comes after the UAE also called for an investigation into the incident, which caused damage to the building. There were no casualties.
