Students of Cairo’s Ain Shams University in the lab developed a white-colored female nurse robot with a touch screen on her chest. This robot has specialized software and medical kits by which it can help medical workers and patients during the pandemic. The robotic nurse was named Shams and Esraa Tarek, a teaching assistant at the faculty, explained to the media how the robot nurse could help reduce direct communication between medics and infected patients.
