It emerged that Pakistan Television (PTV) on Thursday withdrew the case against Shoaib Akhtar, former fast bowler, in which it had demanded him to pay Rs100 million. The court subsequently disposed of the suit when the lawyer for PTV notified a civil court in Lahore of the reconciliation between two parties. PTV did not wish to pursue the case further, he stated.
