At least 71 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip since a ceasefire agreement was announced, rescuers said on Thursday. Gaza civil defence spokesman Mahmoud Basal said 61 people were killed in Gaza city alone. Among the dead are 24 women and 19 children, he said, adding that more than 200 people were injured in the attacks.
