Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa authorities on Friday warned of thunderstorms and rain across several areas over the weekend, following a Pakistan Meteorological Department advisory. Heavy rain is expected in parts of central Punjab, while KP’s upper and plain districts may also receive showers. Authorities cautioned against urban flooding in several major cities and landslides in hilly areas, including Murree, Galiyat, Chitral, Swat, Shangla and Mansehra, urging residents to remain vigilant.
