Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani urged de-escalation during a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Al Jazeera reported, citing a Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement. During the call, the Qatari minister reaffirmed Doha’s support for ongoing efforts to reach a comprehensive agreement to end the crisis.
