The National Accountability Bureau filed a 39-page petition to have Maryam Nawaz’s bail revoked. Maryam Nawaz is not eligible for acquittal, according to the plea filed in the court. Because she was a woman, the Supreme Court granted her relief. Maryam Nawaz took advantage of the bail exemption. The National Accountability Bureau has asked the court to terminate Maryam Nawaz’s bail. The NAB has filed an Article 199 application.
