Vatican City: On Nov 5, It was officially announced by the Vatican that Pope Francis would visit Cyprus and Greece, including the island of Lesbos on Dec. 2-6. The 84-year old pope has fully recovered from intestinal surgery in July and paid a visit to thank the staff at the hospital where he had his surgery. He will stay in the Cypriot capital Nicosia from Dec. 2-4 which is his first visit to the ethnically split Mediterranean island.
