Vatican City: According to reports, Pope Francis has accepted an invitation from Narendra Modi, Indian Prime Minister to visit India soon. In 2016, Francis said he was about to visit India the following year but Indian Catholic Church leaders failed to convince Modi, to invite him. John Paul II was the last pope who went to New Delhi in 1999.
