Displaced Palestinians in 18 areas of Gaza are being forced to move again as the Israeli army announced eviction orders “for their safety”. In a post on X, Israel’s army spokesman told Palestinians to “immediately” move southwards towards the already overcrowded area of Al Mawasi. “The army is working with increasing force to destroy the enemy”, the spokesman wrote, in an apparent reference to Hamas.
