Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary has rejected the impression of any deadlock between the government and opposition and said that PM Imran Khan will consult with the opposition regarding the appointments of ECP members. He mentioned, “A strong election commission enjoying the confidence of all the political parties is in the interest of the country”. Moreover, he said that the government wants the consensus of parliament over all major issues.
