Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said that the “peaceful” transfer of power in Afghanistan is a welcome sign after the Taliban took over the country. He said, “It is expected that the new administration will follow the international laws”. He expressed satisfaction as no bloodshed occurred during the transfer of power in Afghanistan. Moreover, he declared, “The decision to recognize the Taliban will be made in consultation with the international and regional powers.”
