On Wednesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that its CEO, Wasim Khan, had resigned.
The PCB, however, stated in a statement that the board of governors (BoG) will assemble later today to discuss the matter. Wasim Khan is believed to have quit since his power has been diminished, according to insiders.
“Wasim Khan decided to resign due to disagreements with Ramiz Raja,” sources stated. He resigned after a meeting with PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja.
