Islamabad: It was reported that Pakistan’s coronavirus positivity ratio exceeds 3% for the third consecutive day, as the Omicron variant of Covid-19 continued to spread across the country. The National Command and Operations Centre’s (NCOC) data revealed that 1,467 cases were reported from across the country after 43,540 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. This took the positivity ratio to 3.33%. “People who were fully vaccinated six months ago and are over 30 years of age should get a booster dose,” NCOC chief stated.
