Mannat, a Pakistani fashion label, has been chastised for what many people, particularly Sikhs, have described as an “objectionable and disrespectful” photoshoot that appeared to have taken place in the Kartarpur Gurdwara, a sacred site for the community.

Mannat and the model, who is a “digital creator,” have since taken the photographs down from Instagram.

The president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, has demanded that everyone engaged in the photograph be prosecuted.
