Pakistan seeks return of 11 seafarers from US-seized vessels near Singapore 

Pakistan is working with Singapore and Iran to secure the welfare and repatriation of 31 seafarers aboard vessels seized by US authorities near Singaporean waters, said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. In a post on X, Dar said he had spoken to Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan to seek support for the return of 11 Pakistani and 20 Iranian seafarers. He added that he had also spoken to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and that Pakistan remained in close coordination on the matter.
